Deep Matters: Foundations is the first edition of the Deep Matters international conference series, dedicated to exploring how foundation models are transforming materials research and innovation.

This year’s conference features speakers from NVIDIA, Cusp AI, Orbital Materials, Polaron, and leading academic institutions. Bringing together academia, established companies, and startups, the event offers a unique forum where scientific advances meet industrial applications and entrepreneurial innovation.

When and where is the conference?

Is registration free?

Yes — the event is completely free, but seats are limited (~100) and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

When does registration close?

Registration will remain open until all seats are filled. We recommend registering early.

What is the schedule?

It is a one-day program, running from morning to evening.

Speakers include leading voices from academia, industry, and startups working at the intersection of AI and materials science.

Is food provided?

Yes — coffee breaks and lunch will be provided.

How do I get there?

The venue is within walking distance of Old Street (5 min), Moorgate (7–10 min), and Liverpool Street (8–10 min) stations, with bus routes 21, 35, 135, 141, and 205 nearby.

Will the talks be recorded or live-streamed?

The conference will be in-person only. No live-stream or recording is planned.

What if I can't attend after registering?
